Thanks, I just got it today with an ulda 13 that I'm uploading as I type this. Decline rate... hmm. Probably not as bad as last season because players are desperate for healers, but still too high, sometimes I do get instant invites... but most of the time I have to apply to 5 key at once and one *may* accept me. Really sad that holy paladin is bottom for the second season in a row.

Crusader strike is a necessary evil, our dps is expensive and bad... strange combination. If you ever see me just kinda auto-attacking in consecration, I'm trying to get mana back/slowing down. And yes, raging tempest boss can be annoying if someone is out of beacon range and you have to chase them down to heal lol

There's only so much a healer can correct, and at times you are at the mercy of other players respecting mechanics/using defensives. Not having control of that brings the most stress, at least for me.

I find it more useful/my playstyle.

(Keep in mind with this response I only have 2pc tier set so far) I never had real mana problems because I mana pot on cooldown and sneak in drinks whenever I can. With that said, you need to be cautious if you want to play aggressively/dps. Using beacon is totally fine if you use it in moderation. If you spam it, and dps very aggressively you may run into some mana issues. But there's no reason to spam virtue if you rotate your other, more mana efficient cooldowns. I actually think hpal feels slightly better than last season, but our mana and low dps is so profound, I wouldn't be surprised if we're considered bottom tier again if we don't get any tuning. I don't care though, I just pug and do my best, so I'm still going to play hpal. We are actually pretty solid at healing with great utility, lots of passive mitigation too- our biggest issue is mana (which you can work around tbh) and low dps.

​@@SDollz I see. I m only a KSH player ,got some portals last season, but I dont enjoy hpal at all this season. With Mythic squish pugging low keys feels chaotic . I 've bench my hpal until next expansion , and I rerolled to prot pally :)

@@vanguelisk Yeah, I think the key squish did more harm than good. I actually wanted to give holy priest a try, but when I saw the gearing path and how bad the low keys are I stuck with my geared holy paladin to get out of that range ASAP.; Prot pally is pretty good, although a few dungeons like ulda may be annoying when you might need to kite out of consecration, but they're still a very solid choice! @@SDollz HPaladin need some love badly, not even a hpally main and i can notice it .

You have to use it in moderation, or your mana will suffer. I didn't use it until very high keys (25 and over), so you should be fine assuming you are geared. Good luck! :)

That's really interesting, I did not know that! Thank you for the info, when you say "holy light healing splash talent" do you mean beacon?

@@SDollz Resplendent light talent - Holy Light heals up to 5 targets within 12 yds for 8% of its healing. 8% seems nothing, but when you heal chromie for hundreds of thousands, the splash heal is huge healing each member ~30% HP if not more. For example the stack mechanic when Iridikron shoots whole party. Time your holy light cast to go off after first shoot and u will heal all to full. Or use Hand of Divinity before it and just insta cast holy lights when party gets damaged. This splash heal makes the fight super easy to heal IF people stand within 12 yards of Chromie. Or when the dps phase is up where u have to get into chromies bubble to finish off Iridikron, all u do is just holy light on chromie and everyone stays 100% HP all the time

This is only available on the prototype ROM, it didn't make it into the final release. IIRC, pause at any point during the level and press the 'B' button to enable free-roam debug.
